WHAT TO EXPECT

We carefully select music (old and new) that has correct doctrine and glorifies Christ. Our music does not look and sound like the music that the world offers.  Its purpose is greater.  Our music is not intended to attract the world to us, but to attract the blessing and real presence of God in our services.  The music in our church is very uplifting and helpful for the believer.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

You may wear what you are comfortable wearing at Vision Baptist Church. Most men wear dress slacks and a collared shirt and tie. Some men wear suits. Many of the ladies wear skirts or dresses, but some wear dress pants. The focus should be dress that glorifies God and puts the attention on him, not us. There is no dress code at Vision Baptist; we are glad that you chose to join us for church!

WHAT IS THE PREACHING LIKE AND CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS?

Preaching is the main reason we should come to church - hearing from God's Word. Expect each service to include a relevant, Bible-based, doctrinally sound message from our Pastor that will encourage, uplift, exhort, reprove, and remove doubt about what God is saying to us through His Word.  Our Pastor takes preaching very seriously, and lives are changed because of the steady flow of spiritual food we receive from preaching.

Our children also need good spiritual food. You would never feed your child harmful physical food; so likewise, as parents, we need to ensure our children take in wholesome Biblical food.
